One-of-a-kind piece, turned by master craftsman Dr. Craig Mason. Features four tall hand-carved feet. The wood is from a Mahogany tree in Kaimuki that outgrew its front yard and had to be removed. This piece was turned from one of the buttress roots on the stump, reulting in the long, narrow shape, just perfect for displaying on a shelf.
Dr. Mason has been working with wood for more than 32 years, and uses only reclaimed wood...he never purchases wood or cuts down trees.
