One-of-a-kind Lāna`i Cook Pine bowl by master wood turner Dr. Craig Mason. The Cook Pine tree was from our front yard. Sadly, we had to take down a majestic Cook Pine that was sick, but at least 60 feet of the tree was in perfect condition. We sent several large logs on the barge to Dr. Mason, who patiently waited for the wood to dry, then created this masterpiece. Signed and numbered.
Dr. Mason has been working with wood for more than 32 years, and uses only reclaimed wood...he never purchases wood or cuts down trees.
