One-of-a-kind kiawe wood bowl, by master wood turner Dr. Craig Mason. The kiawe tree had grown on Mokaupu point on Oahu, and was damaged by a storm. Dr. Mason saved it from the wood chipper.
Dr. Mason has been working with wood for more than 32 years, and uses only reclaimed wood...he never purchases wood or cuts down trees.
