A museum-worthy piece turned by Dr. Craig Mason.  His handcrafted Kamani wood hollow form features a burned, textured collar and stopper. Note the "twig" handle, which was hand-shaped, burned, and scored to mimic tree bark. 

Dr. Mason has been working with wood for more than 32 years, and uses only reclaimed wood...he never purchases wood or cuts down trees. All his pieces are signed and numbered.
