Vince Cabanilla crafted this one-of-a-kind replica shark tooth war club -- Leiomano -- from the rarest of all Hawai`ian woods -- Kou, which is now on the endangered species list. Nearly decimated by moths in the 1800ʻs, kou wood was prized for tools, implements and food-related items such as bowls. To protect sharks, this Leiomano features 18 meticulously hand-carved tiger shark "teeth" made from Axis deer antler.
