While preparing for an exhibit of my work in Cancun, I rented a VW Beetle and traveled through the Yucatan Peninsula. Outside of Tulum I came across this thatched-roof house house catching the last rays of the sun. I can still hear the clacking of the palm fronds as the shore breezes whipped them back and forth!
