Material: Cook Pine from the Carroll's yard on Lana'i.

This open bowl has a burned, textured wave pattern below the rim. While the treeneeded to be taken down because the top was damaged, the bottom 2/3's of the tree was in great shape. We loaded logs onto the barge and shipped them to Dr. Mason on Oahu. Not only was the tree saved from the wood chipper, it was transformed into beautiful art!
Dr. Mason has been working with wood for more than 32 years, and uses only reclaimed wood...he never purchases wood or cuts down trees.
